We were thrilled to receive two awards at the Midwest SPBGMA Convention on Jan16, 2010.  Bob was awarded 2010 Song Writer of the Year (one of the above pictures shows him accepting the award).  The group was voted 2010 Vocal Group of the Year as well.  One of the above pictures shows us holding both of the awards.  We were also nominated for Gospel Group of the Year but did not win.  We were privileged to perform at the convention prior to the awards ceremony and also for the gospel segment on Sunday morning.  One of the pictures above shows us performing a song at the convention.

We really enjoyed traveling to Nashville, TN to play at the Texas Troubadour Theater for the Sullivan's Bluegrass Gospel Association Showcase.  The event is always held the first Friday of November.  The above picture shows us performing there.

We enjoyed playing the many churches that invited us to sing and play during our first year as 'Bob Hammons & Wildwood'.  The above pictures were taken at a church in Springdale, AR in Oct. 2009 where we had the privilege of playing with our good friends, Southern Raised.
